ECTA cooling-off right

For a qualifying electronic transaction, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 allows a consumer to cancel without reason and without penalty within seven days after receiving goods. The consumer may be charged only the direct cost of returning the goods. Where the right applies and payment has been made, the refund is due within 30 days of cancellation. Statutory exclusions may apply, including to goods made or altered to the consumer's specification.

Additional 15-day voluntary return

For an eligible unused stock item, contact us within 15 days of purchase. The item must be in original resaleable condition with proof of purchase. The source site's R300 packing and handling deduction and customer-paid return postage apply only where lawful and never reduce an ECTA or CPA remedy. Purchases from third-party retailers must be returned through that retailer.

Faulty, unsafe, damaged or incorrect goods

Contact us with your order reference and useful photos. Under sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, qualifying goods must meet the applicable quality standards. Within six months after delivery, goods that fail those standards may be returned without penalty and at the supplier's risk and expense for repair, replacement or refund as provided by the Act.

Cancelling before shipment

Contact us as soon as possible. Our voluntary policy accepts cancellation requests within 12 hours and before shipment. The source site's 12.5% service and processing fee applies only where lawful and does not override ECTA or CPA rights.

How to return an item

Contact support before posting anything so we can provide the correct return location and instructions. The Johannesburg administration office is not a confirmed returns depot. Include your order reference and proof of purchase.
